DESCRIPTION:

Gwizz Dodge is just a simple game I made for Gwizz's Gwizziversary Jam. It's a multiplayer game using Godot 4's high-level multiplayer API (specifically web sockets). Compete against other players to dodge the "fireballs" as long as possible. Last one standing wins :)

NOTES:
  • Use fullscreen for android. Avoid it on desktop (it pushes the game to the left of the screen...)
  • This is my first Godot game. I enjoy the engine. Quite simple and fun to use.

KNOWN BUGS:

  • Server will hang if players leave the game running in a background tab (has to do with the player having authority over their own positions & collision.
  • Godot 4's HTML export is not compatible with iOS devices (apparently it's due to iOS not supporting WebGL2.0 yet? not sure)

Please report any bugs you find, and I'll attempt to fix them ASAP.

Also, please comment if the server is down, or message me (Gare) on Gwizz's discord.


Edit: Server is down temporarily (the WebGL build's certificates expired, so I need to refresh them). If you'd like to try the game, I can refresh the certificates & start the server again.

Server is running as of right now. If it crashes, let me know and I can restart it. Figuring out how to restart automatically now.
